Woohoo! This week was absolutely fun! :D Despite having to think about what could happen on mon (sigh), it was nonetheless, a very eventful week for me :D Let the pics do the talking!

Anyway, Uncle timo surprised all of us by actually buying each of us a gift! And, he wrapped it all by himself! Haha. my cuz gave him a pass for that :) Thanks uncle! haha :) (he's not in the pic cos he helped us take them.)

Oh and the 3 of us performed our trio for the very first time! (which turned out to be not so entertaining) - piano, viola & trombone. haha. but it was a good try and experience nonetheless! 3 different instruments not meant for each other, with my tbone sound overpowering the other 2. haha. And and we had fun making music together right? :)

And of course, i'll never forget when we baked cookies for the guests together, and we got so addicted to them we kept sampling them, how aunty nelia loved the chao da cookies so much we decided to pack her a box of them, and how we totally panicked when the cookies started to bubble & rise the moment they were being baked. Haha, it's just so funny doing things with them :D

Finally, another partaye at my dad's side. :D

We decided to take another family shot since the last time we took was like when I was a baby in my mum's arms.

Haha yup. Had a great time catching up with my family. Can't wait to meet them again for the new year! :)

Oh and thanks gregory for helping purchase tics! He and his girlfriend were like very supportive, cos he was an ex-cjcian. And he purchased another 2 for his ex-band friends. Cool. wonder if they know sir?

Anyway, The little nyonya is so nice to watch. Haha my mum n grandma r hooked on to it too. Ok help. 2 more wks of holiday n my homework is still..sigh.

My hols have been revolving around band..it's crazy! But i'm willing to go through all these hassle; as long as can get to play in the concert! Qy, thanks for the encouragement. I'm very sure with sheer hard work, u're capable of doing as well as the others (:
Sigh, but i got this embrochure problem, which my section helped me correct, so now gotta get used to it.

I nvr fail to get break into bouts of laughter whenever i go for band; it's the little things that my bandmates do that really make me laugh alot. (: Like during lunch, justina n qy were like making alot of noise with the straws. Haha. then the lady beside us kept staring at justina.
Haha n cheng was like coming up with ultra funny names, like andrea, she n i r the powerpuff girls n gabriel is mojojojo. Hoho damn funny can.

Anyway, despite all the weariness, there r alot of ppl who have helped me along the way, be it from my section or ppl from aj. Even today, little things like the aj senior giving us chocs (although we don't really know her), cheered us up after our hard work.

I really wish i could have more air! Haha. Then maybe i can play better..hais i always cannot pitch the high notes when I'm tired :(

Band aside, I think I should really start to focus more on studies, n most importantly, spending time with my family n friends. Was supposed to go out with my cousin but cos of hectic schedule, quite difficult to arrange a fixed date.

Oh well, jia you for the concert! We have to play for it no matter what.(:
Oh and I finally found the song I've always been searching for. It's Home by Chris Daughtry, which u're listening to now! Haha nice right?(: I was in a shop when I heard it again, n this time, I managed to catch hold of the lyrics! :D

I miss Korea :(

Miss the great company by the ppl in our tour group!

The scenery n all which was just breathtaking.

Most of all, I miss the relaxing times & being able to wake up each day to a brand new experience!

On Mon night I couldn't slp. Perhaps it was cos of the latte i drank, but then most impt i had to go back to face the stress awaiting me back in s'pore. sigh. oh well, as what my dad said, All things must come to an end.

Shan't elaborate on the trip..will certainly miss everything about it.

sectionals was kinda boring n hot as usual..

but i thought band wasn't as bad as expected.

yup. played some nice tunes like chorale n shaker dance. can play! (:

Third symphony was killer man!!

Notes were so damn high, even our sl said it was difficult. lol. the highest note was like an octave above middle C.

Anyway i hope i can catch up n play as well as the rest in my section(:

Yup. Other than going away, I think the holidays will be a rather busy one!

Pee-double-you is finally over!
Shan't dwell on it; went well but some mistakes here n there..

anyhow, tmr is the results day,
whether or not u get promoted..
I hope my whole class gets promoted! (:

Qy is really sweet to offer to give us a treat..
and she's the birthday girl! We shld be the ones treating her!(:
And yes thank u grace, sp, n qy for being such great & supportive friends!
If not for u guys, I think life in sch will be quite meaningless..
u all add color to my life! (:

I think the best gift u can give to a friend is to accept him or her as a friend from the bottom of your heart. Haha. I got that inspiration from the show "Corner with love"
on channel U, 7pm. The lead actor, Show Luo (Qin Lang), told his new found friend Barbie Hsu (Yu Xinlei) to close her eyes n describe how he looked like..he said that she shld rmb how he looked like wherever she went if she really took him as a friend. As she is rich, she wanted to repay him with an airline ticket, but friendship is not all about money.

So that show taught me that friendship is not just about having common topics to talk about, being able to afford luxurious gifts to repay a friend etc etc..these r not the essentials of true friendship. (: what's most impt is being a true friend to a friend always(:

Anw, Band on sat, after 3 months of break! I think my lips slacken alr..oh no, sure kanna scolding. sigh i thot after 1 hard yr can finally have a gd break, but seems like there'll be prac abt 3 times a wk.. oh well but if i wanna improve i musn't be lazy! I've slacked too much alr! lol

Looking forward to korea trip, going to batam for a gd cause(:, & of course christmas! :D hope i can get to stay over at cuzzie's hse again..so fun!(:

Welcome to my blog!

Not my first time blogging..rather, i think this is the 3rd or 4th time I've created a new one cos i really hated my previous blogs..really messy.

Guess i've to stick to this conventional blogskin..

Would love a change of blogskin but i just can't seem to get it nicely done.

Okay, so back to life at CJC.

ALOT has been taking place during my life in JC that i don't even realise it's nearing the end of the yr. Been enjoying myself so far, esp during band practices. Band may have been tough when it came to training, but I must say, I've met the most wonderful ppl there, making my stay in CJ a more meaningful one(: Well, now it's time to FOCUS on the promos which is in like, some 50 days time? Argh why am i still easily distracted? Guess i'll go for night study with grace.

Anyway, sch had national day celebrations yesterday. Walked from CJ to CCAB, where we sang some songs & had the bhangra aerobics n mass dance. Kinda reminded me of sec 4, when we walked from our holding sch to the new sch at Lor Ah Soo..ahh those wonderful memories..

Stoned for a while..Then yanni took out her phone n started taking pics n distoring them. haha..laughed like crazy.

Couldn't join class for outing, cos we didn't have much money for sushi. So we met sp n headed to tp for our all time fav beef noodles!:D Took random pics of her eating n drinking pepsi, n video too. haha. Suddenly this whole idea of taking random pics n videos just came to me.

Walked around tp; haha my idea of walking around 'places we haven't really been to before', exploring them & taking cool pics! (=camwhoring). Walked past neighbourhood shops; n frankly speaking, it was rather nice walking at those places, away from the hustle and bustle of crowds, plus the shops sols interesting stuff too. Saw many ppl in red n pretty much seemed like it was CNY..well it'll be approaching soon anyway, 5 mths time. haha

Finally, went to library where sp wanted to search for a book. Then i whipped out my hp - again, n started our journey of camwhoring (in the library). We enjoyed ourselves, cos it was smtg different we did besides the usual walking aimlessly around, watching a movie etc. Pics are below, so enjoy!(:
